Director Danner continues to make poor decisions regarding the Health and Safety of Members. Our Union made a formal request for the Division of Parole and Probation to end the unsafe practice of allowing members to wear “loaner ballistics vest”. Director Danner denied the request and has decided to disregard the health and safety risk created by allowing members to wear ballistic vests that aren’t tailored to them. President Robinson was able to reach out to Safariland at which time their representative indicated they would not recommend sharing a vest. Put your safety FIRST and “SAY NO TO LOANER VEST”!!
